Jeans & pants
Jeans & pants picks, all in one place: who this category suits, what to double-check before ordering, which part of the QC photos deserves a close look, and the trap newcomers fall for most. Read this page first, then shortlist with confidence.
Jeans & pants · Quick checks
Good for: A full centimetre chart comes with the row.
Confirm: Waist and inseam in centimetres.
QC focus: Check the tag against a piece you already own.
Trap: Letter-only sizing.
Hardware and construction in denim
Rivets at stress points, a sturdy fly button and chain-stitched hems are the construction details that separate denim worth owning from denim that fails. Ask QC photos for the fly and the rivets close up. Loose or missing rivets at pocket corners predict exactly where the garment will tear, and they are easy to catch before shipping.
Fading and how washes age
Distressed and whiskered finishes are applied at the factory and do not improve with age, while clean indigo fades naturally where you actually move. If you like the worn look developing on its own, buy a dark clean wash. If you want the look immediately, accept that the factory finish is fixed and will not evolve.
Wash, dye and shrinkage
Raw and unwashed denim shrinks noticeably on first contact with water and will bleed indigo onto light surfaces. Pre-washed styles are stable and predictable. Decide deliberately: soaking raw denim is part of the process, while throwing an unwashed pair into a machine with other clothes is how people ruin both.
